The Tub Repair Company Large Wall Repair Kit is designed to fix most large cosmetic damage to fiberglass and acrylic bathtubs. It also works well in repairing rusted out areas in cast iron tubs. This kit can tackle non-weight bearing cracks up to 9 inches long or holes roughly 4 inches in diameter (or roughly the size of a baseball). It is not designed for weight-bearing repairs; refer to the Floor Crack Repair Kit for weight-bearing repairs.Â
This kit matches nearly any color with our easy to-use color matching system. Refer to the instructional video library for easy step-by-step directions. Most repairs with this kit will take approximately 1.5 hours and will need 24 hours to cure.

The finish should be smooth and may be slippery. If slipping is a concern you should use a shower mat without suction cups and remove the shower mat when not using it to let the repair dry between uses. The best way to get the longest life out of your repair is to let it dry between uses and not keep it perpetually wet.
We have a 180-day warranty on the functionality of all of the products we sell.
You can purchase an additional repair warranties as an add-on on your way to your cart. These warranties cover your repair work.
To activate a warranty we would need you to email before pictures of your project before we ship the kit. Email after pictures within 30 days and once your project is completed. After this, to make a claim you would need to email us a picture of the failed repair within the timeframe of the warranty. Email to office@tubrepairco.com.
We offer free shipping in the lower 48 states on orders over $100 which would include any of our kits. We ship all products by UPS Ground and it normally takes roughly 3-4 days to receive most packages.
Shipping to Canada will have shipping charges as well as a roughly $90 CAD import/broker charges. We will call and email to confirm you understand this before shipping.
Returns need to be made within 30 days after purchase. To make a return please include your order number in or on the box. Use the original packing and box the kit came in. Ship it by ground to:

This kit should be used while wearing a respirator. Should not be used by Children, Pregnant women, or Breastfeeding women. Products in the kit can be flammable and include aerosol cans so they should be kept away from flames and extreme heat. Please see safety instructions in the instructional library for product safety.  The finish on repairs may be smooth and slippery. If the slickness is a concern you should use a shower mat without suction cups and hang the shower mat up when not in use.

It is recommended not to us bleach on the repair as this can yellow the coating or Comet cleaner as that is an abbraisive.
If you use a shower mat over floor repairs avoid using mats with suction cups as this will stress the coating and cause it to fail. If you use a shower mat it is recommended to hang it up after each use.

Someone tried to repair the damage before me. I think they used a drywall patch kit. It did not look good. The Tub Repair Company kit worked perfectly. I will continue using for future repairs.

Followed tutorial video tho the last dot. Had barely enough material to complete the process because I had to apply putty couple times due to the lack of experience. Due to the poor lighting in the restroom paint match wasn't 100%, but it will do.
Easy to use
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I ended up having a baseball sized hole in my shower tub and had no idea where to start. Using their text message option, I sent them pictures and immediately got ahold of them. This gave me confidence in the project and lightened the stress because they had everything I needed in one place. After finishing, unfortunately due to my own error I had some cracks in the fiberglass. Simply looking for direction I sent them pictures and called them back again to which after instructing me on what to do sent me another kit free of charge. Only problem I really faced was getting the colors right. This was more of my own struggle than the repair kit. The camera has an ability to focus on it more, but all I really needed was for it to be reasonable.
I have had experience doing small repairs before but had to use off the shelf supplies from the big box stores. I wall only lucky that the colors matched and the finish was close enough. With this kit I was was able to confirm the color prior to even starting. I will be using this from now on.

My repair went great thanks to Clayton Cooper and the other guys at The Tub Repair Company. My son had slipped in the tub and while catching himself his foot knocked a softball sized hole in the side of the tub. I reached out for suggestions on which kit to purchase and was contacted shortly afterwords by Clayton with the suggested kit and video instructions on how to repair and use the kit also including other tips. I’m 100% satisfied with all parts of the repair. The customer service, product, and videos were amazing. The repair is almost unnoticeable especially for someone like myself that doesn’t have hardly any experience doing thing’s like this. I bought the kit almost 3 months ago. I'm a 73 year old female and it was somewhat intimidating so I kept putting it off. After I finally mustered the courage to tackle this project I found it not as difficult as I imagined. The color matching was easy, the almond color was a good match right out of the bottle. The sprayer didn't work at first so I followed the instructions, cleared out the stem and it worked great. My only problem was keeping the paint from dripping in one area. Now that I've practiced a bit I think my next bathroom project will be perfect.
I'm doing tile work and decided to add some additional service like tub-pan repair. I was really happy to find this kit. It easy to work with and youtube video really helpful.
The repair was fast and the tutorials were good. I should have taken more time matching the color. The kit had everything I needed. I had more tape and the extra spray can. It was worth the money. Already mentioned that one of the putties is blue like the hardener, so it is harder to tell when the product is properly mixed. The other putty is yellow, so the blue hardener contrasts the yellow putty more.
The instructional videos were helpful and the repair went well, but it took longer than expected. The provided sandpaper did not stay in place with my orbital sander, but thankfully I had some of the proper grit on hand. We matched the paint pretty easily, which was amazing for a tub 30 years old! For my situation, I decided to leave the paint as it was without doing any finish sanding. Our adult children visited just after the repair, and since they grew up with the damaged tub they were grateful to see the repair!
This kit had everything i needed. I would love the option to buy more of the one color so I can refinish the entire tub. I would purchase again if I had to do another repair.
As you can see in the photos, it went very well. I spoke and texted with Clayton reference my project along with the company videos. Clayton answered my questions and sent me a link that was in the kit for info regarding the products in the kit. Clayton had a great presentation on the sprayers if they clogged up, which both of mine did. Followed the cleaning instructions with the provided acetone and then added reducer which was key, because it thinned the resin to where it didn't clog the sprayer. I sprayed 5 coats without issue. I was skeptical about this product at first. I watched the YouTube how-to instructional videos and thought there was no way I could achieve results like I did. I saw the guy in the video hand mixing his paint to finish the project and thought it must have been camera magic when he sprayed it out and blended everything perfectly. I had three quarter sized cracks/holes, on two different walls in my one piece fiberglass shower and thought to myself - well, it can’t get any worse I guess I’ll give this a try. I bought this kit and you wouldn’t even know there was damage to the tub. I was so skeptical I didn’t even take “before” photos, and now you would never know it was ever damaged. I took my time (about two days) and followed the instructions to the letter. I’m still in awe!
The process was easy and the instructions simple to follow! I am extremely happy with the product and it kept me from having to replace a whole shower/tub combo. I highly recommend!

With a hole the size of a baseball I thought we were going to have to replace the tub. This was going to cost around $10k and we couldn’t afford that. I started looking at videos and came across this product. Video looked straightforward but still nerve wracking. For $150 ish it was worth a try. The repair went great. Overall time was maybe 1-2 hours. The kit had everything you needed to make the repair minus a few small tools, which I had. The finished product looks amazing and I would recommend this to anyone looking to repair a tub. Thank you so much!!

My repair went really well. There was plenty of product in the kit. The instructions were very clear and helpful. The color matching was easy. It took a lot longer than I realized, perhaps I waited too long between steps. It would be nice to have more time to work with the putty, I had to do a lot of sanding and couldn't get it quite smooth, but visually it's phenomenal. I can't ever believe the damage is there. I'm very very glad I got the extra putty, I had an extremely large hole that needed a second base layer. I wish the tape was stickier, I had a problem spanning the gap because it kept unsticking, and perhaps I didn't sand enough, or it was a tad too large for the kit. Paint prep was a bit tricky, but I think it turned out ok in the end.

Do not buy any other product accept this one for matching colors and application! Landlord wanted to charge $2800 to my daughter to replace tub as they said it could not be fixed. We proved them wrong! Definitely following the instructions was the best part - esp with the painting process and final sand! Thank you for such a comprehensive kit so I could fix what was a very surprising and too easily made hole in the side of our fiberglass tub. (They don’t make stuff like they used to…) the repair process was very straightforward, the printed instructions were great and the videos were awesome! The most difficult part was the painting, I was fortunate to have one of the supplied colors match our tub almost perfectly so I did not have to mix any colors. The sprayer system was challenging to get working but I realized I needed to get the vent holes in the correct place so the paint would come out of the spray head. The sprayer system is not like a typical “rattle can” sprayer, it’s more like a fogger which helped me apply the spray with more control. Love the kit! Thanks for helping me save thousands!

I was initially very worried I would not have enough product for the hole I was working with. I had plenty of product and the instructional video was very helpful to follow along. I was really impressed with the thoroughness of the instructions and the materials quality. I tried to get a local company to repair a hole in my acrylic tub. They quoted me $850 and when I tried to schedule the repair, they ghosted me. My fallback was to purchase this kit based on the excellent reviews. I have basic DIY skills and the required tools. I bought organic vapor cartridges for a respirator I already owned (can buy for about $20.) That was a good call given the residual odors from the expoxy materials. I would not want to breathe that stuff. I read through the instructions carefully and watched the video before attempting the repair. The patching and sanding was not difficult. The color matching was the trickiest part, as expected. I was not able to get a dark enough white color. My tub seems white to the eye but the colors provided are all lighter. I also slightly marred the tub when testing colors. The instructions warn about acetone marring some tubs, which it did not. However, the resin finish coat product does erode my tub surface so it's probably best to test the color in the area you are going to recoat, rather than a convenient area as demonstrated in the video. As other reviews mentioned, the sprayer is kind of tricky. On my first attempt, a test spray worked but when doing the actual finish, I got only gas out of the sprayer. There was a card in the kit with a QR code to a troubleshooting video which demonstrated exactly how to get the sprayer working by flushing with acetone and thinning the paint a little bit more. Kudos for that. In the photo the patched area is very visible due to the lighter color but to my actual eye it is less visible. I think most people would not notice it unless I pointed it out. I'm calling the patch a success especially because replacing this tub would be extremely costly.
