It was an absolute amazing experience. Have never done anything quite this handy, so I was nervous. The customer service was so helpful and reassured me of everything I was doing. He gave me confidence to tackle it the next day on my own to finish the job and I am so pleased with the result! Looks amazing, and feels so much better! No more squish! This kit was the absolute best in solving my father’s bathtub problems. The instructions were clear, and very easy to follow. Mixing the paint to match is the hardest part of the process. Trial and error, there’s plenty to experiment with. Thumbs up to Clayton for a well put together kit, that takes the guesswork out of the repair. Excellent!

**Quick pre-review tip: DO NOT USE FLEX TAPE WHILE YOU WAIT FOR YOUR DELIVERY! Removing that was the hardest and longest part of the entire repair** Clayton and the Tub Repair Store team were fabulous to work with. I woke up to a crack splitting my fiberglass alcove tub with wraparound siding in half like a Twinkie and did not want to have to tear the entire thing out. After watching the videos and reading reviews, I placed the order through their website and quickly received the package. Everything was clearly labeled and instructions/tutorials were provided. My project ended up being considerably larger than anticipated (due to significant soft spots) and I ran out of material, but Clayton helped me every step of the way. The tub has been repaired, looks terrific, and is holding up beautifully. I cannot recommend them enough! Like mentioned in another review - time your project well if you think you may need assistance. I’m a night owl in Denver and they’re in Springfield, Missouri - there were moments that I wish I could have called but it’s my fault that it’s after hours. One of the best things about them is that they are NOT a call center and they are more than happy to help you during normal operating hours. Thank you again!
Prior to purchasing I did a lot of research on best products available. The all inclusive kit, as well as the initial instructional YouTube video is what sold me. Purchased the kit and received quickly. Hard copy directions as well as a more in depth video with step by step instructions, including cure times, was provided. Very happy with the product and outcome. Customer service was fantastic when I had questions. Would use this product again and highly recommend. This product saved me thousands of dollars. My shower base looks better than when I started.
Went well, it was a very gloss white tub and matching the color was very hard. The gloss white was too white, the gray white was too gray, and the gold white was too dark. I tried to follow the process to mix it to match but couldnt really make the right mix which was frustrating. Ive used your product on an almond tub which turned out amazing. Overall definitely cheaper for my customers to repair instead of replacing when accidents happen.

I was really impressed with how well everything worked. The videos were super helpful, I was able to send a picture in so I knew what to purchase, and the painting trouble shooting was very helpful as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great way to fix their tub.

It was great - awesome support and instructional videos. one of my prevals did not work and I ran out of paint but I.d relate the latter to my issue specific to the repair. I'll be inquiring about more paint. For pre-vals, as a supply chain leader in my professional life I think they owe you a better quality standard. even your instructional videos assume they will fail - you are definitely losing money packaging two. I would get deep with them and understand the quality issue or choose a new supplier. Overall a great product, great support, keep doing what you do!
This is a great product to properly repair the floor of a cracked tub. The kit has great instructions that are easy to follow.
It went well.
The online video could be better, was 2 hours and the quality was a bitmapped, would have been better for more explaining while it was getting done during the video, but it was enough we got the premise of most of it. We did have the instructions and are not new to DIY. It went really well and was not difficult. Patience is best especially when trying to match the paint. A job well done with a quality product. Thank you so much. Would recommend for sure.
Repair went well, one small suggestion on instructions, my cracks were near the drain which I covered and worked around. When I applied the enamel paint I could have blended/filled in the edges better by removing my protective tape from the drain first.
Someone tried to repair the damage before me. I think they used a drywall patch kit. It did not look good. The Tub Repair Company kit worked perfectly. I will continue using for future repairs.

This tub repair kit is awesome! It came with every single item I needed for the process and the instructional videos were also very helpful. My bathroom tub looks brand new after the repairs. I will definitely be using it to fix other areas around the house.

Followed tutorial video tho the last dot. Had barely enough material to complete the process because I had to apply putty couple times due to the lack of experience. Due to the poor lighting in the restroom paint match wasn't 100%, but it will do.
Easy to use
The repair went well. I used the product is designed and was able to fix the cracked shower floor.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I ended up having a baseball sized hole in my shower tub and had no idea where to start. Using their text message option, I sent them pictures and immediately got ahold of them. This gave me confidence in the project and lightened the stress because they had everything I needed in one place. After finishing, unfortunately due to my own error I had some cracks in the fiberglass. Simply looking for direction I sent them pictures and called them back again to which after instructing me on what to do sent me another kit free of charge. Only problem I really faced was getting the colors right. This was more of my own struggle than the repair kit. The camera has an ability to focus on it more, but all I really needed was for it to be reasonable.
Wish I had done this sooner with first crack. We repaired 4 cracks and a misplaced hair iron burn on our plastic tub. I have always been afraid of harsh cleaners on plastic. The acetone can make it soft, but your directions and coaching gave me the confidence to go for it. This saved us a lot of money and time by avoiding a remodel. Thankyou!
I was able to repair two cracks with the kit- a small one on the tub floor, and a long one on the tub wall. The results look great. The only small glitch I had was that the mesh tape didn't seem to have any adhesive on it like in the example videos. The tape still stayed in place, as our cracks were on horizontal surfaces.
I have had experience doing small repairs before but had to use off the shelf supplies from the big box stores. I wall only lucky that the colors matched and the finish was close enough. With this kit I was was able to confirm the color prior to even starting. I will be using this from now on.
The repairs were much easier than expected. All steps went well. I had more than enough material to do the job. The videos on YouTube were all quite helpful, and I recommend watching all of them to get the job done perfectly and to avoid any issues. The only problem I had at all was getting the paint sprayer to work at first, and resolving that was clearly covered in one of the YouTube videos, and went very well after that. I had it easy in that my shower was almost perfectly Gloss White, so I didn't have to mix colors to get the final finish close enough.

I was completely satisfied with the kit. The instruction videos were extremely useful. The color application and matching went great.
The spray foam support and fiberglass repair went well with no issues. Very straightforward. When I went to color match my older Almond color I discovered the Almond color provided was not dark enough and the colors provided only lightened it. I needed to finish the project so I decided to just use the Almond color provided. The spray system provided is definitely the weak link in the system. Glad they provided a second backup. Ended needing to use that one since the first one would not spray consistently. Overall other than the color not matching it was a fairly easy repair.
Repair went very well, product worked as advertised, and instructions were reasonably easy to follow. Only minor complaint is that the sprayer was a bit tough to operate, but nothing that significantly slowed down the repair. The shower looks great now!
Ultimate Chip Repair - Fiberglass, Acrylic, Porcelain Repair Kit
The repair went well. Large hole i used the large number 2 wall patch kit and extra glass and finishing putty. Looks good.
I started by watching your videos. They were informative and showed me the process well. I had a 10 inch long crack in the bottom of the fiberglass shower and started with a can of foam. I may have used too much but a lot of excess worked it's way out of the holes and it didn't lift more than was needed. The support was awesome it now feels like a solid base. The fiberglass pastes went down well. I had to do two coats of the finish to fill in the little divots edges. I can't stress enough to be ready to use the finish coat immediately after mixing it hardened fast. Because my shower was not a standard color I painted the entire floor. This is the only part I am worried about I prepped the floor but I don't know if the paint will hold up. All in all I am happy with the results and would recommend this to others. I finished this in one long day.
My repair went great thanks to Clayton Cooper and the other guys at The Tub Repair Company. My son had slipped in the tub and while catching himself his foot knocked a softball sized hole in the side of the tub. I reached out for suggestions on which kit to purchase and was contacted shortly afterwords by Clayton with the suggested kit and video instructions on how to repair and use the kit also including other tips. I’m 100% satisfied with all parts of the repair. The customer service, product, and videos were amazing. The repair is almost unnoticeable especially for someone like myself that doesn’t have hardly any experience doing thing’s like this. My suggestion to anyone who is considering this is to watch the video and trust the process. Thank you.

That product it's self is good, there is plent to fix a larg portion in a tub. My only issue is they say several times throughout their videos to call or text if you have questions, no stipulations in the messages. But I did this project on a Sunday, I called and text the numbers they provided with no response. I didn't hear back from them till Tuesday. So if you need assistance I would definitely plan accordingly.

I was scared at first that I would make it worse. I watched the video 4x and then during the process again, lol. Then all of a sudden confidence kicked in and it was simple drilling, mixing, apply mix, sand... it all went well. I'm happy with it and the family is happy there's no more Flex tape in the showers. 😁
Everything went suprisingly well. The video on youtube was more than informative enough for someone like me who doesnt pride himself as any sort of handy man, especially when it comes to plumbing or wet environments. Having them say in the video "just give us a call" several time made me feel correctly that these people stand by their product and truly wish to see the problem resolved. The tub looks better than it ever did since we bought the home and that means even before it was cracked. The tub was discolored and the paint easily and seemlessly match the original surround.
Customer and her realtor were ecstatic! They’re still talking about it. You guys made me a hero.

I want to start by saying I didn’t interact with anybody from the company directly BUT that is because I didn’t have to! I have never done work like this before, so I basically went in with zero experience. The written instructions and the instructional videos are very well Constructed and presented. When utilizing both, the project was, dare I say it, pretty easy. All I had to do was follow the instructions. I went in thinking I didn’t care how it looked, I just wanted it functional. Even with my lack of aesthetic concern, It still turned out really nice. Minus one slip up that was my own error and is barely noticeable. They did address this kind of error in the instructions/video and explained how to fix it, but since I wasn’t concerned about the aesthetics, I just continued on since it wasn’t going to impact it structurally. The only Feedback I would add is to include in the written instructions what temp to put the hairdryer on (cool, med, hot). Oh and 1 more small stir stick and what kind of gloves to use incase you are the kind of person that uses more than 2 pair 😂😬 Also, I found that quickly wiping the Vent hole in the underside of the lid on the sprayer in between layers, using a paper towel sprayed with acetone, Basically fixed any issues I was having with the sprayer. I noticed that simply picking the sprayer up off the floor and moving it to its location where I was spraying was enough to splash the liquid up even when it was at 3.5 ounces or less. I didn’t even take the straw completely out of the jar when cleaning it. I just lifted the lid enough to swipe the paper towel underneath the lid and put it right back on. Thank you for providing such a cost effective fix with AMAZING instruction AND even though I didn’t use your text/phone option for help, I appreciate you having it available!
