How hard are the Tub Repair Kits to use?Our DIY kits are designed for people with basic skills such as: spreading and sanding drywall mud and using spray paint. Our kits also provide colors which can be easily mixed to match nearly all standard tub colors. We make it easy for you to save your tub and make the damage disappear. |
How long does the project take?We expect our customers to complete the projects as following: Large Wall Repair - 2 Hours of work. +/- Floor Crack Repair - 4 - 5 Hours total project time +/- (2 - 3 hours of this is waiting for the foam to set up) |
How long does it need to cure?Once the projects are complete you will want to give it 24 hours to cure. |
How do I maintain and clean it after it cures?The only cleaners we have found to be harmful to our coatings is Bleach and Comet cleaners. The bleach can yellow the coating and the Comet cleaner is abrasive. Avoid using shower matts or suction cups on the repaired surface. This will have a constant pulling effect on the coating and can retain moisture. Try to avoid coatings perpetually sitting in water. Normal wet and dry cycles are fine. |
How long will the repair last.We warranty our services for 3 years when done by one of our professionals. We expect them to last indefinitely under normal wear and tear. Since we will not be installing the kits we cannot warranty the work. |
Do I need any tools to complete a repair?Yes. Here is a list of items you will want to have that are not included in the kits:

Are the products in the kits dangerous to use?The products in the kit can be dangerous if the proper precautions are not taken. #1 - Use a respirator when applying the kits. #2 - Wear the gloves that are included in the kits. #3 - Ventilate your bathroom by opening a window and turning on the exhaust fan. |
How do I decide what kit is best for me?Large Wall Repair - Designed for large cosmetic repairs the size a quarter or as big as a softball. Not for weight-bearing repairs but will add good durability to a vertical repair. Floor Crack Repair - Designed for most weight bearing repairs. These are specifically used for cracks in the floor roughly 9" or smaller. This will provide support to your floor and a strong repair to the crack without having to go into the crawl space. |
What if my repair has a rough finish?If the repair is rough due to overspray around the repair, take the 400 grit sand paper (included in the kits) and wet sand the rough area until it is smooth. Refer to our instructional videos showing how to wet sand. |
