The Tub Repair Company Floor Crack Repair Kit is designed to repair weight-bearing damage to fiberglass and acrylic tubs. This kit can tackle cracks in the floor roughly 9" or smaller. It not only repairs the crack, but also adds support under the floor for a long-lasting repair.
Our repair kits match nearly any color with our easy-to-use color matching system. Refer to our instructional video library for easy-step-by-step directions. These repairs should take approximately 3 hours of work time to complete, plus 3 hours to let the support foam set up. All projects need 24 hours to fully cure.

The finish should be smooth and may be slippery. If slipping is a concern you should use a shower mat without suction cups and remove the shower mat when not using it to let the repair dry between uses. The best way to get the longest life out of your repair is to let it dry between uses and not keep it perpetually wet.
We have a 180-day warranty on the functionality of all of the products we sell.
You can purchase an additional repair warranties as an add-on on your way to your cart. These warranties cover your repair work.
To activate a warranty we would need you to email before pictures of your project before we ship the kit. Email after pictures within 30 days and once your project is completed. After this, to make a claim you would need to email us a picture of the failed repair within the timeframe of the warranty. Email to office@tubrepairco.com.
We offer free shipping in the lower 48 states on orders over $100 which would include any of our kits. We ship all products by UPS Ground and it normally takes roughly 3-4 days to receive most packages.
Shipping to Canada will have shipping charges as well as a roughly $90 CAD import/broker charges. We will call and email to confirm you understand this before shipping.

This kit should be used while wearing a respirator. Should not be used by Children, Pregnant women, or Breastfeeding women. Products in the kit can be flammable and include aerosol cans so they should be kept away from flames and extreme heat. Please see safety instructions in the instructional library for product safety. The finish on repairs may be smooth and slippery. If the slickness is a concern you should use a shower mat without suction cups and hang the shower mat up when not in use.

It is recommended not to us bleach on the repair as this can yellow the coating or Comet cleaner as that is an abbraisive.
If you use a shower mat over floor repairs avoid using mats with suction cups as this will stress the coating and cause it to fail. If you use a shower mat it is recommended to hang it up after each use.

Repair went well, one small suggestion on instructions, my cracks were near the drain which I covered and worked around. When I applied the enamel paint I could have blended/filled in the edges better by removing my protective tape from the drain first.
This tub repair kit is awesome! It came with every single item I needed for the process and the instructional videos were also very helpful. My bathroom tub looks brand new after the repairs. I will definitely be using it to fix other areas around the house.

Wish I had done this sooner with first crack. We repaired 4 cracks and a misplaced hair iron burn on our plastic tub. I have always been afraid of harsh cleaners on plastic. The acetone can make it soft, but your directions and coaching gave me the confidence to go for it. This saved us a lot of money and time by avoiding a remodel. Thankyou!
I was able to repair two cracks with the kit- a small one on the tub floor, and a long one on the tub wall. The results look great. The only small glitch I had was that the mesh tape didn't seem to have any adhesive on it like in the example videos. The tape still stayed in place, as our cracks were on horizontal surfaces.
The repairs were much easier than expected. All steps went well. I had more than enough material to do the job. The videos on YouTube were all quite helpful, and I recommend watching all of them to get the job done perfectly and to avoid any issues. The only problem I had at all was getting the paint sprayer to work at first, and resolving that was clearly covered in one of the YouTube videos, and went very well after that. I had it easy in that my shower was almost perfectly Gloss White, so I didn't have to mix colors to get the final finish close enough.

The spray foam support and fiberglass repair went well with no issues. Very straightforward. When I went to color match my older Almond color I discovered the Almond color provided was not dark enough and the colors provided only lightened it. I needed to finish the project so I decided to just use the Almond color provided. The spray system provided is definitely the weak link in the system. Glad they provided a second backup. Ended needing to use that one since the first one would not spray consistently. Overall other than the color not matching it was a fairly easy repair.
I started by watching your videos. They were informative and showed me the process well. I had a 10 inch long crack in the bottom of the fiberglass shower and started with a can of foam. I may have used too much but a lot of excess worked it's way out of the holes and it didn't lift more than was needed. The support was awesome it now feels like a solid base. The fiberglass pastes went down well. I had to do two coats of the finish to fill in the little divots edges. I can't stress enough to be ready to use the finish coat immediately after mixing it hardened fast. Because my shower was not a standard color I painted the entire floor. This is the only part I am worried about I prepped the floor but I don't know if the paint will hold up. All in all I am happy with the results and would recommend this to others. I finished this in one long day.
That product it's self is good, there is plent to fix a larg portion in a tub. My only issue is they say several times throughout their videos to call or text if you have questions, no stipulations in the messages. But I did this project on a Sunday, I called and text the numbers they provided with no response. I didn't hear back from them till Tuesday. So if you need assistance I would definitely plan accordingly.

I was scared at first that I would make it worse. I watched the video 4x and then during the process again, lol. Then all of a sudden confidence kicked in and it was simple drilling, mixing, apply mix, sand... it all went well. I'm happy with it and the family is happy there's no more Flex tape in the showers. 😁
Everything went suprisingly well. The video on youtube was more than informative enough for someone like me who doesnt pride himself as any sort of handy man, especially when it comes to plumbing or wet environments. Having them say in the video "just give us a call" several time made me feel correctly that these people stand by their product and truly wish to see the problem resolved. The tub looks better than it ever did since we bought the home and that means even before it was cracked. The tub was discolored and the paint easily and seemlessly match the original surround.
This kit is really well put together. Instructions are very thorough and the videos available are great! Honestly so glad I found this company, saved me SO much money!

I want to start by saying I didn’t interact with anybody from the company directly BUT that is because I didn’t have to! I have never done work like this before, so I basically went in with zero experience. The written instructions and the instructional videos are very well Constructed and presented. When utilizing both, the project was, dare I say it, pretty easy. All I had to do was follow the instructions. I went in thinking I didn’t care how it looked, I just wanted it functional. Even with my lack of aesthetic concern, It still turned out really nice. Minus one slip up that was my own error and is barely noticeable. They did address this kind of error in the instructions/video and explained how to fix it, but since I wasn’t concerned about the aesthetics, I just continued on since it wasn’t going to impact it structurally. The only Feedback I would add is to include in the written instructions what temp to put the hairdryer on (cool, med, hot). Oh and 1 more small stir stick and what kind of gloves to use incase you are the kind of person that uses more than 2 pair 😂😬 Also, I found that quickly wiping the Vent hole in the underside of the lid on the sprayer in between layers, using a paper towel sprayed with acetone, Basically fixed any issues I was having with the sprayer. I noticed that simply picking the sprayer up off the floor and moving it to its location where I was spraying was enough to splash the liquid up even when it was at 3.5 ounces or less. I didn’t even take the straw completely out of the jar when cleaning it. I just lifted the lid enough to swipe the paper towel underneath the lid and put it right back on. Thank you for providing such a cost effective fix with AMAZING instruction AND even though I didn’t use your text/phone option for help, I appreciate you having it available!
The Tub Repair Kit was very easy to use. I appreciated the videos that walked me through the whole process. I watched them once to begin with and then rewatched them in parts as I was doing the repair. You made this very easy and the end result was that you almost can’t tell there was a repair done.

The product works well, I had a problem with the amount of foam needed to create support under the tub. I overdid it ended up with a hump. There was not sufficient Bondo in the kit, and I ended up using regular fiber filled auto fiberglass Bondo.

The floor crack repair kit is only designed for up to a 9” crack. Also though it is rare, you can mitigate the chance of a bump by placing a board on the crack with something heavy on it (50lb or so). Watched all the videos in the library and found them accurate and very helpful. The only unanticipated event was when I tried to get cream hardener out of the tube the first time, clear liquid came out before the colored material. Obviously I needed to mix/knead the tube before first dispensing the hardener as it had separated a bit. I may have missed that step in the videos. None-the-less I was somewhat confused as to weather the clear liquid was actually hardener or not and how to judge the proper amount. I added more, worked quickly and it turned out great.
PHENOMENAL repair. I watched the whole video first, and it warned me about two things that could go wrong. Both happened. I was able to overcome both with this kit and the instructional video! Without getting on all fours and looking for a repair you already knew was there, you would have no idea this was ever damaged.

I had a tub with two cracks, and this kit worked perfectly. I had a little trouble getting the paint sprayer going, but I called and someone answered right away and walked me through all the steps to get it going. On my Kohler tub, the gray-white paint was a perfect match.

Repair was flawless and was very happy when I had a quick question. what was advertised in customer service actually was reality. I called and spoke with who was in your YouTube videos who was knowledgable and was able to speak about the product from a user stand point and not just someone trying to read a script. If I were to improve what you offer I would break the kit down to not only an all inclusive kit but offer up each component as some diy people have some of these items already on hand so it would make it more cost effective for all as I have left over items that will not be used again unless something else comes up With that said I highly recommend this to fix your tub with fantastic results. The paint match is most impressive.
Even as an amateur, I was able to step through the whole process, it was explained well, I have everything I needed, and once it was all said and done, the repair went far better than what the """"professional"""" did prior.

I had to repair two shower bases that were cracked. The tub repair kit worked perfectly saved the customer a lot of money with not having to remodel a shower. The only problem I had was the paint matching (which was user error) , and the spray can didn’t work efficiently. I ended up using my airbrush sprayer and it worked out perfect. I am definitely going to keep this product on hand for any further mishaps. As long as you follow the step by step instructions you will be good.
It went very easy. I'm glad you included the extra aerosol for paint matching because I actually needed it. The instructions were really well laid out and for the three cracks I had in my shower pan I had enough product. I was even a bit more liberal than suggested just to make sure.
Now that it's done you wouldn't know it had been fixed unless you got down very close. It is a tedious chore but if you follow all the videos it is definitely doable. I had to call for assistance and to my surprise I received a call back within 10 minutes. The repair seems quite solid. Unfortunately because of the crappy design of my shower pan this won't be the last repair.

Surprisingly easy to use, I was more than happy with the kit to patch the crack in my bathtub. But, what is more important than just the product itself, which is completely reliant on the users ability to install, is the fantastic customer support. I did have some trouble with the spray "paint" at the end. Totally user error where I let some of the paint contact or cover the vent hole in the bottom of the aerosol can. I got an immediate answer when I called and was patiently walked through exactly what I needed to do to correct the problem. Great company that does what they say they will do, and a great product that saved me a ton in potentially much more expensive repairs.
I rarely provide reviews on products but seeing how complete this kit is, it deserves a detailed review. A had a level 2 crack in my bathtub when the plumber accidentally dropped a tool. Without any prior experience in bath repairs I was pretty sure any remedy would show because the tub, other than the obvious crack, was in a very good condition. I purchased the kit just to have a piece of mind I tried before replacing the whole tub. The kit had all the required material and instructions on how to repair. I applied the epoxy patch and let it cure. The repair was complete, the hole sealed but the patch was very obvious. After carefully sanding it down to be completely smooth (needed a rotary sander), the patch was only noticeable by the difference in the color. And we are talking about a pretty extensive patch to the size of a palm. I played a bit with the color options provided in the kit and fortunately I was able to get to a very similar tone just by using one of the colors (gray white). Application of the color took time and patience. Extremely thin layers (spray fog from a distance), using a hair dryer for more than a minute between coats, and applied at least 8-10 coats. After the patch was completely covered (about an hour in the spray process), I let it dry for 24 hours. Carefull not get a spray drip (always spray first on a paper before the tab so the spray valve is clean). Next day, using the small sand papers (1000, 2000, 3000 grit) I was able to bring the shine back and make it completely smooth. After all said and done, bathtub looks like it was never cracked and there is no visible sign of the patch, discoloration or change in the finish. Very impressed with the quality of the materials. One of the spray cans had intermittent flow, but I was able to identify the problem quickly and switched cans. The second one was working much better.
This company rocks. I am a jack of all trades and believe the best way to learn is just to do it. With that being said, this. Company makes its tub repair kits so easy to follow, it provide everything you need in one easy to use kit, provide videos, and what seemed like 24 hr support. I emailed the company, and chatted with the its techs, and I received support no matter what day of the week I reached out, even Saturday. I felt great being able to send photos and ask questions as I made the repair. Fair warning, this product smells, wear a true respirator mask and be prepared for sanding dust. I would recommend this company in the future and buy its products again.
Good overall. Like many others have said, the sprayer is absolutely useless. It blew up in my hand and made a large mess. I ended up using a brush to apply the final coats, which doesn’t look perfect but it’s honestly fine. I’m sure I could knock down the brush strokes with wet sanding but it isn’t even noticeable unless I use a bright flashlight. The instructional videos are awesome. I love that you explain WHY to perform steps and not just how. This is a kit designed for a permanent repair and not just a bandaid that will fail in a couple weeks. The emphasis on supporting the tub from underneath is perfect. Overall a great kit.
Only 2 problems. The gloves are way too small and spraying the tub floor is a total pain. I ended up using a 1” new clean nylon brush to smooth the rest of my paint on my tub. Worked fantastic. Your instructions and videos are a total pleasure. I’m a 75 yr old career carpenter who knows how to follow instructions. I had all the tools necessary and the project turned out great. Your straight forward instructions and willingness to offer help are a tribute to small business. You guys are stellar! 5 STARS recommended by me. Keep up the good work. John Gross

Was able to repair a hairline crack in a polystyrene tub. Probably the worst material to try and repair but kit seems to be holding up well and I avoided replacing the entire unit. Easy steps and plenty of videos to show me the way. All was pretty easy but had a little trouble with the spray for the paint but they were quick to reply - even on a Sunday evening and sent a video I missed to help me get through it and sent me out more of what I needed immediately. First I would buy a better tub but if you stuck and need a repair - this product and company are top notch.
The instructions were pretty clear and easy to follow. I also found their instructional videos on YouTube which I followed. The repair seemed solid for about 2-3 weeks but did not hold up. The crack has reappeared. Ultimately ended up being money wasted.

Also make sure you have built the Glass Putty up and not made it paper thin. Finally one kit is really only good for a crack up to 9”.
